Maelseom's musical career started in 2007, (when he was 10 years old) when he first took an interest in learning how to play guitar. By the time he was 13 he had already learned to play multiple other instruments and started to become familiar with music production using FL Studio Mobile on his phone. After 1 year, he decided to take it to the next level and move his productions to FL Studio for PC. Initially, he went under the former name of "Cr1s1s" for a few years, until 2016, where he decided to start fresh.
And so "Maelseom" was born.
Maelseom's music has been influenced by many top tier artists from many different genres and backgrounds such as: Dubtastik, Nasko, Virtual Riot, Barely Alive, Seven Lions, Pegboard Nerds, PhaseOne, Skrillex, Au5, Pendulum, Knife Party, Krewella, Zedd, Lindsey Stirling, Avenged Sevenfold, Evanescence and Melanie Martinez.
And so "Maelseom" was born.
