Maggot Erotica

A savage blend of brutal death metal, grind, and deathcore. Maggot Erotica aims to be nothing but a disgrace to the music industry. From serial killers to torture porn, drug abuse to free speech, suicide to Satan, if it offends or disgusts, Maggot Erotica will write a song about it.

Initially formed as a solo project in 2018 by vocalist/guitarist Jordan Ramsden, Maggot Erotica's debut EP "Devotion To Gore" was unveiled in October 2019. Shortly after its release, after meeting at The University of Warwick, lead guitarist Damian Mikolajczak was welcomed into the band and they quickly started working on a follow-up split EP, "Bong Rips For Satan", alongside death-doom act Devouring Reality (of which Jordan Ramsden is also a member). The EP is set to be released on the international day of bong rips, 4/20.

Maggot Erotica is inspired by the relentless grind of <a href="spotify:artist:1XRhUgCyzIdeT8d9KMfeDR" data-name="Aborted">Aborted</a>, the chunky rhythm of <a href="spotify:artist:4ItRDIouodpnW6nm4TYDk1" data-name="Suffocation">Suffocation</a>, the guttural slams of <a href="spotify:artist:3Gqp4F4hxnfH2txPKU5J2J" data-name="Vulvodynia">Vulvodynia</a>, and the bone chilling and often hilarious samples popularised by <a href="spotify:artist:34PPy9Ut9m8qB8BnmCiVmO" data-name="Mortician">Mortician</a> and Operation Cunt Destroyer.
