Mi Ami drummer Damon Palermo began DJing and recording off-kilter dance music that touched on house, techno, and rave under the name Magic Touch in 2011. Hooking up with the like-minded L.A. label 100% Silk, Magic Touch released the debut single "I Can Feel the Heat" in 2011. After releasing two collaborative 12" singles in 2012 ("Just Wanna Feel" with Sapphire Feels and "Anywhere You Want Me" with Ital) on 100% Silk, Palermo released the Nothing More EP in 2013 for the German label True Romance. For Magic Touch's first full album, he jumped back to 100% Silk and Palermo House Gang was issued in early 2014. Featuring guest appearances and collabos with Sorcerer, Newbody, Ash Williams, and Octo Octa, the album is a pulsing homage to house music. ~ Tim Sendra, Rovi
