Swedish musician Magnus Daun from Majorna in Gothenburg makes music in many different genres. Everything from acoustic excesses and classical melodies to epic metal and cinematic soundtracks.

I once lived on Sycamore Avenue in Los Angeles, a cross street from Sunset Boulevard. There was a Guitar Center nearby and I couldn’t resist the sound of a guitar that I tried out. A guitar I still have over 30 years later. Hence the song’s title, a bit of a memory from that time.

I woke up one morning with a melody in my head. A simple melody that seemed to have transcended from a dream.
Coast Of Donegal: (release-date May 5th, 2026)
According to a DNA-test I have 1% of Irish blood in me, specifically from the Donegal region in the northwest by the Atlantic coast. The song is inspired by Swedish and Irish folkmelodies - and the ocean!
