Tim Long and Derek Harlan are the founders and members of the band. Both grew up in a small community in Wayne County, Iowa. After years of making music on their own, they have decided to make music together, even though they now live 1000 miles away from each other.
Tim Long plays guitar, bass, drums, sings, and produces. He is known for his love of Cubs baseball, The Beatles, and for his recent album release called "After Hours" by Tim Long and the timlongs.
Derek Harlan plays guitar, bass, drums, sings, and mixes. He is known for his trick basketball shots, his art, and for releasing 3 albums as Smokin’ D Music.
