Maguey Plant

Silvia Reale (vocals), Andrea Dominoni (bass), Dave Dicecca (guitar/FX) and Matteo D'Ignazi (drums) are Maguey Plant, a Neo Soul project born in Milan in 2018.

Its unique sound shares its roots both with the traditions of Afro - American music and also with the European legacy, mixing together Soul, Funk and Rock, making its music an original beat with many influences.
Maguey Plant’s authenticity, constantly evolving towards new rhythms, allowed them to rapidly emerge on the musical scene in Milan, quickly reaching a fair degree of notoriety. Thanks to this success, in 2019 they have been enlisted in the programme of the famous festival “JazzMi” in Milan.

Within a single year of hard work, they recorded their first album
“ ‘Round 3”.
This stands a self-produced album, recorded and mixed by Alessandro Caneva at MobSound Studio (Milan) and mastered by Michele “Gas” Castagna at Orange Corner Music Lab (Milan).
The Album, which received the artistic counsel of guitarist Alberto N.A. Turra, is enriched with the collaboration of acknowledged artists such as: Ottavo Richter Brass Section, Rosario Di Rosa (Keyboards & Synth) and Alex Pacho Rossy (Percussions).
