Maison Hall. is an Australian duo comprising Ben Byron and Joe Kneipp. Formed in Brisbane in 2015, the duo independently released debut record “It Was Never About Me” in 2016. Described in The Revue (CAN) as “blissful post-rock that blends the mind-blowing, crystalline guitars of Explosions in the sky and the lush, atmospheric undertones of Sigur Rós”, Maison Hall. played a handful of rapturously received shows in their hometown of Brisbane before abruptly taking hiatus in 2017.
Now based between Canberra and Hobart, Maison Hall. have returned in 2022 with a suite of new songs. Described by Music Feeds as a “scrappy, fiery rocker”, ‘Montreux’ heralds a new era for the duo in the lead up to their sophomore effort.
