Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Melchizedec Andrews-Bey, also known as Majesty Da God, has been an artist, follower and fan of Hip-Hop music since as long as he can remember. Majesty was inspired by the creative wordplay and rhythms artists like NWA constructed in their music. Since the age of 10 he has worked on mastering his craft and the business of music.
Throughout his adolescent years he was a part of two groups, but in 2009 he decided to create his own lane and started to pursue a solo career. Since this transformation he has developed a sound unlike any artist in the game today. He prides himself on being able to create music that is catchy and fun to listen to, but also shows off his skills as a lyricist.
Majesty has released three mixtapes to date (Majesty Is God Read The Bible, Suicide Sundays Vol. 1, and Alcatraz). His debut EP, The Apollo EP, was released in May of 2015 and was highly coveted as a stellar release. It reached to #21 on the CMJ Hip-Hop charts and was a fan favorite amongst college radio stations throughout the U.S. and Canada. His follow-up, The Apollo II, released August 5, 2016, surpassed its predecessor and reached #2 on the CMJ Hip-Hop charts. With a growing and supportive fan base, Majesty Da God is continuing his progression to music stardom and with the quality of his work it's evident that he has the skill and ability to leave his mark not just in Hip-Hop, but in music as a whole.
