Makan Taghavi is a New York based composer and producer blending Persian-rooted melodies with jazz-fusion harmony and modern, beat-driven textures. Equal parts precision and emotion, his music moves between intimate lofi atmospheres and cinematic, detail-rich arrangements. He started his journey as a classical pianist and transitioned to Jazz under mentorship of Iran's leading Jazz figures such as Hamzeh Yeganeh and Mahan Mirarab. He expanded on his chops after studying Music Technology at NYU, one of the leading Music Technology programs globally where he collaborated with major Jazz artists and producers as record engineer.
