Make Issues

Make Issues is a Duo Indie Rock Band based in Boston. The band is made up of Geo Del Valle (Lead Guitar/Vocals) and Molly Gagnon (Lead vocals/Guitar. Geo was originally from Connecticut and met Molly in July 2022 through cosplaying a hobby they both share. Geo wrote a song and brought it to Molly and asked Molly if she wanted to work on the song together since they knew about Mollys background in music. They both began working on the song from August 2022 to January 2023 when they finally finished the song. This song ended up being their first single August which released February 13th 2023. Geo and Molly do everything themselves from song writing, playing the instruments, producing etc

The name Make Issues is a combination of Maki (a character Molly cosplays from Jujustu kaisen) and Ishucos (Geo’s cosplay instagram name) and they reworded it to Make Issues. The duo takes a lot of inspiration from different aspects of the rock genre from pop punk bands like Mayday Parade and Sparks The Rescue to metal bands like Coldrain and Alesana and even some indie bands like The Rose. They take all these different elements and twist it into their own unique style along with the storytelling aspect of their lyrics.
