Makenzie grew up at the foothills of the Sierras in Reno Nevada. In 2018 She moved to a small town in East Texas. She first discovered her love for music in Kid’s choir and then joined her churches youth worship team when she was twelve, picking up vocals, guitar, and piano. In 2019 Makenzie decided to jump headfirst into music and received her Bachelors in Modern Music in spring of 2022. She is now continuing her journey in music by writing, performing, and recording original music. Sharing and creating original indie-folk music about Growth, life, and the Lord, she hopes to connect people together and make a big world feel more like home.
