Makenzie Schriner is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter and 6th generation fiddle player from Sedalia, Colorado. At just 21 days old, he was held by Arnold Schwarzenegger on the set of “Junior.” By age 9, he played his first concert with his family band, and by 13, was playing fiddle, guitar, harmonica, bass, and songwriting.

After high school, Schriner moved to Nashville, where he connected with Brad Paisley’s first manager, Jimmy Gilmer, quickly making a name for himself as a prominent fiddle player in Nashville.

In 2016, Makenzie played guitar and fiddle for American Idol alum Josh Gracin before joining Sony/ Arista artist Carlton Anderson's band, later becoming Music Director for teen sensation Maddox Batson. He has played in house bands behind artists such as Dustin Lynch, Ernest, and John Carter Cash, and opened for acts like Old Dominion, Charlie Daniels, and Cody Johnson. Makenzie has performed at renowned venues like Red Rocks Amphitheater, The Grand Ole Opry, and CMA Fest. Beyond his songwriting success, including cuts by Netflix’s Coffey Anderson, Makenzie holds major label studio credits on Maddox Batson’s track "X’s." He recently released “Git Down” and collaborated with Joanne Cash on a rendition of “Amazing Grace.”
