From 15-year-old London raver to Sydney-based DJ & Producer, Maksee’s journey is an odyssey in sound. Having witnessed the mid-90s evolution of Jungle, Drum & Bass and UKG firsthand, he now channels that fusion of influences on top of a love for house music to to create tracks across multiple genres with high-energy textures and underground vibes.
After a long-term hiatus spent living away from the UK and his dream of becoming an artist, Maksee has returned to his original blueprint ignited as a teenager. His production is a personal homecoming, stripping away the noise to focus on embracing a calling that never went away.
As both a composer and DJ, rooted in club culture, pirate radio and driven by the energy of the London scenes that formed him, Maksee aims to bridge the gap between old-school flavours and a fresh, authentic, multi-genre sound.
