We’re excited to showcase Malacai’s lyrical delivery and unique style as he continues to make strides in the Minneapolis hip-hop scene. Malacai’s raspy delivery and witty punchlines provide an upbeat vibe and a motivational feel.

Malacai began his journey at the age of 9, taking a heavy interest in music, and using his journal as an outlet until he began to record himself digitally and upload it online. Growing up, he was inspired by a variety of musical styles such as hip-hop, R&B, and pop, blending these elements to create a sound all his own.

Malacai is dedicated to creating authentic music with a message. He draws influence from everyday occurrences, crafting his lyrics around social issues, self-reflection, and much more. Themes of resilience, determination, and self-expression are common threads throughout his music.

Malacai has released three full-length albums since his start in the hip-hop scene, and has a loyal following across the Midwest. He has worked with many established producers as well as upcoming musicians in the area, furthering the ever-growing Minneapolis music community.
