Malheur is a jazz-rock trio formed in Seville (Spain) in the late 2012, and consist of Juan G. Acosta (guitar), Juan Miguel Martín (electric bass) and Manuel Montenegro (drums). They have released three albums up to date: 'Dulcia Cum Amaris' (Knockturne 2013), 'Ausiliatrice' (Knockturne 2015) and 'La Boca Prestada' (Blue Asteroid 2017).
The band have been critically acclaimed for its unique sound -a blend of '70's prog-jazz, Chicago's post-rock and cinematic soundscapes- and also for their intense live shows in which they balance technical virtuosity with the taste for a variety of sonic textures.
