Maluda

Eystone A. Mukubi pronounced (Estone) popularly known as MALUDA born 2 September 1988 is an African hip hop artist from Nairobi, Kenya, and currently based in Kenya.

MALUDA gained recognition in the music industry while he was still a member of the gospel rap group ETERNAL MC'S. Having been born and raised in Nairobi's inner city (JERICHO LUMUMBA) MALUDA opted to start rapping.

He describes his younger years as tough as his mom struggled to make ends meet raising two children on her own. MALUDA's interest in music began when he was just 12 years old singing in a local church choir, he decided music was the path he wanted to take and he has since been part of music to date.

In 2016 MALUDA won a Groove Awards in the category of hip hop song of the year for his song featuring Juliani.

In 2016 MALUDA also got nominated for the AFRICAN GOSPEL MUSIC AND MEDIA AWARDS held in the U.K In 2019 MALUDA was featured in the smash hit song SONDEKA part 3 by one of the most famous musicians in East Africa NAIBOI marking a huge milestone in his career.
