Mams Taylor

A crooner/producer/rapper who mixes the styles of <a href="spotify:artist:0z4gvV4rjIZ9wHck67ucSV">Akon</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0ZrpamOxcZybMHGg1AYtHP">Robin Thicke</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:2HcwFjNelS49kFbfvMxQYw">Robbie Williams</a>, Mams Taylor was born and raised in Cricklewood, North London. The former bouncer moved to Los Angeles in 2004 and soon was working with the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:7hJcb9fa4alzcOq3EaNPoG">Snoop Dogg</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5aYyPjAsLj7UzANzdupwnS">Good Charlotte</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0NbfKEOTQCcwd6o7wSDOHI">the Game</a>. In early 2008 the gossip websites were filled with stories, pictures, and videos of Mams getting in a fistfight with Jesse Metcalfe from the television series Desperate Housewives. Suddenly Mams' MySpace page was getting more hits than ever. Visitors were greeted with his track "L.A. Girls" featuring <a href="spotify:artist:1Mj01W9PVDoVh7uXqkX0Kj">Joel Madden</a> from <a href="spotify:artist:5aYyPjAsLj7UzANzdupwnS">Good Charlotte</a> plus "Rockstar" with <a href="spotify:artist:3JTMBiL0Bmrxv41WJ8V8cu">Dave Navarro</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6FBDaR13swtiWwGhX1WQsP">blink-182</a>'s <a href="spotify:artist:4exLIFE8sISLr28sqG1qNX">Travis Barker</a> as guests. A <a href="spotify:artist:2o5jDhtHVPhrJdv3cEQ99Z">DJ Tiësto</a> mix of "L.A. Girls" came next, and then the Scott Storch production "Girl Like This" arrived, updating <a href="spotify:artist:5Qlt3zQ63Z99mNhuun0JAT">Edwyn Collins</a>' "A Girl Like You" as a slick R&B club track.
