mamu ('ghost' in Basque) are a punk, emo and post-hardcore band from Bilbao, formed in 2023. Following on the footsteps of the giants of their scene like @Berri Txarrak, and other distant ones like @Touché Amoré or @Rise Against, they aim to crossbreed frenetic screamo and epic melody.

'Mapa eta lurraldea' ('The map and the territory'), their first album, offers glimpses into the emotional geography of the band, and explores the distance between growth and travel, adhering specific sounds to the milestones of the path traveled.
