Man at Ease is the collaborative project of Gijs Quaedvlieg (a.k.a. GISSA) and vocalist Eddie Marks. Born from a desire to go beyond the DJ booth, the duo blends the pulse of electronic dance music with the soul of singer-songwriter storytelling.
Gijs fell in love with electronic music early on, channeling that passion into producing and performing at raves, festivals, and clubs. But the urge to explore live performance and deeper emotional expression sparked a new chapter. Eddie grew up classically trained, learning the Violin and French Horn as a youngster before finding a love for writing. Enter Man at Ease: a spicy cocktail of hypnotic grooves, raw energy, and introspective lyrics.
