Noelson Teixeira, known as Mandas, is an Afrohouse & afro tech Dj/producer. He was born in Guinea-Bissau, spent his adulthood in Brazil ,worked nearly 6 years in Asia and now based in Portugal.
He was a resident Dj in Playhouse club - the biggest club in Asia, that was top 13 in DJ Mag. Having an opportunity to share the stage with DJs such as Tiesto, Diego Miranda, AfroJack, Diplo, Kshmr, Alok gave him a different prospective on quality of performance & the level of technique artist should have.
Now his sets are known not just for high level technique, but also for the ability of bringing hiphop, afro and EDM together.
His music “Energy” featuring Fatman Scoop blowed everyone’s mind.
Despite of living outside for sometime, he never lost connection to his country. His recent shows in Guinea-Bissau were a sold out.
