Mandayla is no stranger to the idea of hard work and overcoming opposition. Since the band's inception, its founders have endured hardships beyond which they could imagine. Through comradery, strength, and dedication, the group has embodied these feelings into their music. Their debut album ‘Rise’ expresses feelings of insecurity, depression, and anger; but more importantly manifests itself into one vital phrase:
