Mandoors is a neo-psychedelic/synth wave quartet based in Semarang, Indonesia. Since releasing their EP Scepticism in early 2019, they have been known for tackling themes of humanity and social issues in their music. The band's name is inspired by the history of slavery during the Dutch colonial period, with "mandoor" meaning a slave supervisor or laborer. Mandoors draw inspiration from 80's new wave and 60's British pop music, made up of Kurniawan Nugroho [Vocals, Guitar], M Zuma Mahardika Wijaya [Bass], Dewa Herlambang [Drums] and Jul Ardiansyah (Alrisk) [synth]. In 2023, Mandoors released their debut album SONE and conducted their album tour in 13 cities in Java-Bali, Indonesia.
