Manik B is a Reggae singer-songwriter and a forerunner of the Soundsystem Culture in Mexico.
As a DJ and promoter, he has continuously worked to propel Bass music, bringing the sound to many stages across Latin America and Europe.
His lyrics carry messages about social change, "el buen vivir" (living well) of ancestral Mexican cultures, as well as many references and allusions to Zapatista autonomy and its joyful rebellion.
In the production of his tracks, he has worked with Dub artists such as ZION TRAIN, DIGITALDUBS, TWILIGHT CIRCUS, BUNGALO DUB and has developed deep collaborations with the rapper KENY ARKANA (FRA), DADA YUTE (BRA), LENGUALERTA (MEX) and PEPE GRELA (MEX), as well as other prominent MCs and singers.
Currently, he is putting the finishing touches on his new album "Soy Camino" which he is creating with SEVEN RECORDS MEXICO.
