Manja Vlachogianni

Manja Vlachogianni was born in Athens.
She received a Piano Diploma with Distinction and 1st Award for Excellence and Exceptional Performance by the National Conservatory of Athens at the age of 17.
She continued her studies at the Richard Strauss Music Academy in Munich from where she graduated with a Piano Soloist Diploma, while she attended classes of Classical Singing and Musical Theater Performance.
She studied music at the Musikhochschule Dresden (Meisterklasse) and took acting courses at the Drama School of H.D.Trayer in Munich.
She participated in numerous musical theatre performances and concerts abroad and at a young age was given the position of Deputy Director at the State School of Music of the Garching University City of Munich.
Today she lives in Athens, collaborates as a crossover singer and lyricist with contemporary composers and appears in musical theatre and theatrical performances and concerts.
Up to now, Manja Vlachogianni released in various genres of music 11 singles, 1 EP, 1 album, 1 album song and was the lead vocalist in 6 albums. Several of her releases achieved high positions in Greek, European Charts and Billboard.
Her poems were awarded in International Literature Competitions.
In 2018 she was elected to the Board of Directors of the Club for UNESCO of Art, Literature and Sciences of Greece.
In September 2019 Manja Vlachogianni took on the role of Special Adviser for Culture to the Mayor in the Municipality of Agia Paraskevi (Athens).
