Manraaj is a London based singer-songwriter and performer, whose style traverses a multitude of genres, including Pop, RnB/Soul, and Funk.

As a shy individual, Manraaj’s voice remained quiet and unheard for the majority of his childhood, and as such, he was frustratingly misunderstood, and rarely acknowledged as a musician. Looking onto 2020, he began quietly crafting behind the scenes, in readiness for his nerve wracking and unanticipated debut of ‘Only One’ in May 2020. His entry into the music scene, although abrupt, was nothing short of a thrilling surprise to many, and was met with an incredible reception, thus finally establishing himself as a serious musician.

Manraaj produces high-octane, inspiring music that appeals to a universal audience. Possessing an extensive vocal range, he is able to employ different textures to fit any mood, from silky soft breathy tones for emotional ballads, to a soaring gospel belt for more aggressive tracks. This owes to his obsession for pushing the boundaries, and his unrelenting pursuit for the magnifiicene in music. With tuneful, unforgettable hooks remesincant of 90s/00s RnB, and groovy, flavoursome beats, Manraaj does not make music for himself, but rather to invoke feelings of optimism and exhilaration in others. Due to the organic nature of his writing process, Manraaj’s personality is fully embedded into fabric of his songs, and meaning can be found in the musicality and expression of these tracks, rather than in the lyrics.
