Snapsakademien is a male choir based in Luleå, in the cold shivering darkness of northern Sweden. We are usually seen wearing our white tie attires and student caps while singing everything from ABBA to national romantic songs from the 1800s. If you're lucky you might find yourself surrounded by Snapsakademiker going down on one knee, singing a serenade. It's actually quite common, so don't feel special.

Besides singing we also like to eat and drink. Our food taste is versatile. Some of our favorites are pickled mustard herring, pickled french onion herring and pickled archipelago herring. We have also made our own: the famous mojito pickled herring. It is best enjoyed with the spicy Habanero schnaps.
