Melvin Star Rice or Ótakiya Šuŋkawakan (Many Horses) is a Yavapai Indigenous Paranormal Investigator, Actor, and Rapper. Originally from Prescott, Arizona, he grew up most of his life on the Yavapai-Prescott Tribe Reservation.
Melvin was first exposed to hip-hop after finding and listing to Three 6 Mafia. After listening to rap music, Melvin wanted to make his own music. He released his first album, Malediction, on April 20, 2018. then released his second album, Master of Evil, on October 18, 2019. While proceeding with his music career, he collaborated with C. Ray, Demzwon, & Da Breadman. While growing up and finding his red road, he found out that his family also has some talent like drawing, tattooing, music, and acting. He is a cousin to Stan Rice, who played in Billy Jack (1971).
Melvin then wanted to do paranormal investigations, so he created his own Paranormal Documentary-style YouTube series GhostLand Investigator. GhostLand-Paranormal Investigators group goes to the most haunted locations around in Arizona that have been reported to the most haunted locations around the world. Not only is the show inspired by Ghost Adventures, Ghost Hunters, Ghost Nation, Destination Fear, Project Fear, Kindred Spirits, but they are also idol the most famous Paranormal Investigator Ed & Llorainne Warren.
