Formed in the middle of the global pandemic; Maple Drive was conceived in a basement jam in Belleville, ON that turned into a weekly jam session every Friday night. And the rest is history as they say…
Original members Kent Allin (vocals and rhythm guitar), Jason Kerr (vocals and lead guitar), and Jason Carroll (drums) would bring their love of 90’s music and nostalgia to each session; working on covers and crafting their own unique perspective and sound into the bands dynamic.
Maple Drive’s first show was Aug 6th, 2021 at Prince Eddy’s Brewing Co. in PEC, ON. The three-piece band quickly realized they needed more to round out their sound.
Carroll approached local musician Colin Parr (bass and keyboards) to come jam and see if it would be a good fit. Things clicked immediately and Parr quickly became an integral component of the band. With all four members solidified and committed; it was time to record A Simpler Time.
