Marae

Marae is a pop/R&B singer, songwriter and performer. Having sung for over a decade, she utilises her vocal prowess to shape music to her will. Her music captures those otherwise unspoken emotions and moments in time, and breathes tangibility into them, letting listeners escape into their own head sonically.
With more than a decade of performing experience under her belt, Marae is no stranger to the stage. Continuing to push her abilities in performing, she has also dabbled in dancing. Adding choreography to her performances, she has competed in the 2023 Changwon K-pop World Festival Singapore Preliminary and won first place in the vocal category.
With her vocal prowess, she is lined up to perform at Breaking Sound and Exfil Record's RnB #1 with other name local acts on 1st and 21st March respectively. In the social media space, Marae has also built up an online presence. Mainly on TikTok, she has amassed over 4 million views overall from showcasing her vocal skills via covers and singing challenges.
Despite only bursting into the music scene in 2024, in 2025, Marae plans to explore darker themes and harder-hitting soundscapes with her newest release “EGO”, the third song to her upcoming EP. Continuing to showcase her own bold and dynamic flare, Marae aims to break out of the typical music conventions of a homegrown artist and push the boundaries of performance and music in her industry.
