When he came into the prog rock scene of Belo Horizonte with a powerful production 3 nights show at ICBEU in 1983, Marcelo Paganini had around him the best musicians and singers of the best bands.
He started producing records in 1982 when “Viela das tangerinas” was recorded. Marcelo Paganini was faster than Sepultura and recorded first “O canto da sereia” in 1984 with Guilherme Bizzotto on vocals, that would join Brazilian rock band Kamikaze once Marcelo left for France.
In France Marcelo Paganini is the only indie funk-rock Brazilian band around and played legendary Gibus Club in Paris.

Back in Brazil Marcelo became one of the pioneers of electronic music in the country with the show “Marcelo Paganini is The Band” in 1986. Sold out house at Cabaret Mineiro in February 1987, Marcelo Paganini moved back to France in 1989 for a few months before on Valentine’s Day 1990 he went to live 3 years in NYC that changed his life and music forever.
