Marco Barrientos is a multi Grammy-nominated worship artist, communicator, and teacher. He is internationally recognized in the Hispanic community for combining the teaching of biblical principles with the flow of prophetic song that produces an experience in the presence of God.
Marco is the Founding Pastor of Aliento Church in Dallas, TX along with his wife Carla. He is also President of Aliento Global, an organization that provides ministry training and live worship experiences through conferences and seminars.
Because of his passion and commitment to communicating a message of hope and freedom through Christ, Marco has become one of Latin America’s most beloved Christian ministers and worship leaders. He has recorded 53 albums in a successful career spanning over 30 years.
Beginning in 1987; The popularity and authenticity of his music releases full of powerful messages of hope have made him a burgeoning light in the Latin praise and worship community. After the release of 2012's Ilumina, Barrientos took his first break from recording in nearly three decades. He returned to the scene with a live offering, Amanece, in December of 2014; it featured guest performances from Marcos Brunet, Marcela Gándara, Christine D’Clario, Kike Pavón, Yvonne Muñoz and others.
Marco has been a Latin Grammys nominee for his albums “Viento+Fuego”, “Transformados”, “Amanece” and “Exaltado”, and he continues to be one of the most prolific voices of live praise and worship and Latin CCM.
