Marco Di Battista, jazz pianist, has recorded numerous CDs in his name and has participated as a sideman in those of many other colleagues. He has shared the stage with the most famous Italian and international jazz musicians. In 2012 he published the book C-Minor Complex, an analytical essay on the work of Lennie Tristano. In the three-year period 2014-15-18 he published the three books "Conscious jazz improvisation". He founded in 2000 and still directs the webmagazine Jazz Convention. He has taught Jazz Piano, Improvisation Techniques and Analysis of Jazz Forms in various Italian conservatories, and has held international seminars on jazz music. Today he holds a professorship at the L. D'Annunzio Conservatory in Pescara.
