Electronic music producer Marco Messina became known in the 90's for the italian dub/hiphop Neapolitan band 99 Posse of which he was co-founder and producer. His style combines ambient organic evocative atmospheres with the use of minimalist edgy electronica and trippy dub echoes. He's been collaborating with many artists such Linton Kwesi Johnson, Dennis Bovell, Pino Daniele, Subsonica, General Levy and many more.
He composed music for movies & documentaries that have been featured in major Film festivals such as Venice Film Festival and The Berlinale (among others 'Il Passaggio Della Linea' and 'Bella e Perduta, both directed by Pietro Marcello).
