Marco Sanguinetti

<a href="spotify:artist:1J2yC2qXcdARQwucsaXnrS" data-name="Marco Sanguinetti">Marco Sanguinetti</a> was born and lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His first album <a href="spotify:album:5cuHvu6g5ltWnUcBwA8L1d" data-name="Improvisiones">Improvisiones</a> (2005) introduced him to the jazz scene as a composer making music in a very personal way. &#34;Sanguinetti pushes forth toward a new jazz genre&#34;, according to All About Jazz.

He usually makes music for contemporary dance works. Both albums were nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards (in the Packaging Design category).

His 2016 album <a href="spotify:album:7y5nTWi8e4muRdKpNhqSeI" data-name="Cómo Desaparecer Completamente">Cómo Desaparecer Completamente</a> (versions on <a href="spotify:artist:4Z8W4fKeB5YxbusRsdQVPb" data-name="Radiohead">Radiohead</a>&#39;s music) was included in the Best of the Year by journalist Geno Thackara (USA) for www.allaboutjazz.com. Some tracks were selected to be part of french compilation: <a href="spotify:album:23f7a4SrdEefC1fQniVKEb" data-name="Radiohead in Jazz (A Jazz Tribute to Radiohead)">Radiohead in Jazz (A Jazz Tribute to Radiohead)</a>. Sanguinetti was opening act for The Bad Plus (2014) and Battles (2019) in their shows in Argentina. In both 2016 and 2017, he was awarded: Best Musician, Best Pianist and Best Composer of the year by the Argentinean press.

2019 album <a href="spotify:album:6wuL1qErSQAmBIlrIRDSKJ" data-name="Inmoral">Inmoral</a> includes versions on <a href="spotify:artist:1QOmebWGB6FdFtW7Bo3F0W" data-name="Gustavo Cerati">Gustavo Cerati</a>&#39;s music, produced by <a href="spotify:artist:1qHIneTzy2V7B8v72DQS0H" data-name="Tweety Gónzalez">Tweety Gónzalez</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:7An4yvF7hDYDolN4m5zKBp" data-name="Soda Stereo">Soda Stereo</a>&#39;s keyboards player and Cerati&#39;s producer).

Recent release <a href="spotify:album:0WwPXtRaeJzupT1fyJKrUX" data-name="Diez">Diez</a> (2023) reflects Sanguinetti&#39;s development of contemporary music that represents the soundscape of the city of Buenos Aires.
