Marcus Dorreen

Marcus Dorreen is an independent Australian producer, writer and artist with a love of energetic, pop-inspired grooves. As a teenager growing up on Sydney’s northern beaches, Marcus would often turn to writing music as a way to come to terms with his emotional issues. Unfortunately this resulted in a string of bland, cringey acoustic ballads, which if anything made his girl problems worse. Now in his adulthood, Marcus is redefining his body of work by producing music that people might, you know, actually enjoy listening to.


Marcus’s debut single These Days is a high energy dance pop banger that has gone on to reach a global audience. People in places as far flung as Guatemala City, Guwahati, and Alesund have been driving around, bopping along to These Days and listening to Marcus sing about his divorce.


Marcus’s follow up single Sensitive is a hard driving, pop funk anthem for 8 year olds. If your little dude’s not himself after dealing with some downers in the playground, then clear the living room, crank up some Sensitive and let him work that s#!t out on the dance floor. Remember, just give it some time and tell him it’s OK to be sensitive.
