20 years ago. Marcus went into a studio for the first time, to record an EP with his high school band.
They were left pretty much to their own devices, to figure out things for themselves.
The result was bad. How could it really be anything else. But it was also fun. Playing guitar. Songwriting.
Inventing something that wasn’t there before and have it materialize as a compact disc with 6 tracks of rock n roll dreams.
It even managed to sell about a 100 copies. All the profits were spent on beer. Success. Or whatever.
Marcus have not put down the guitar since. It’s still just as fun to write, record and produce songs. What changed is that the result is far superior.
With a vintage infused sound and mindset, his music is a far cry from generic the pop slop that haunts the charts and radio today. This is rock and roll. The spirit of freedom and rebellion fused into waves of sound.
Marcus has released 2 full length albums, about a dozen singles and an EP. Received airplay on local and independent FM radio stations around the world. Topped underground indie charts and received lots of praise for his unapologetic brand of music. During 2014 to 2019 he fronted high energy rock band Bad Machinery. Solo Artist since 2020.
There is always new music round the corner.
