Combining a strong educational background in the music of different cultures (Cuba/Latin America, Africa, Brazil, the Middle East, Western Classical, and Jazz) with the wide range of music from his roots, Marcus has a natural ability to find deeply rooted connections between genres that seem unrelated to most.
