Margot Gordinier is a 23-year-old indie rock artist from New York. She first picked up a guitar at 13 after writing some poems in her iPhone notes and wanting to put them to melody. Not long after came her debut album, “little misrecorded,” which she released onto Bandcamp, Souncloud, and Youtube in 2018. An experiment in guitar-based bedroom pop and extremely lo-fi indie rock, the record was made on Gordinier’s iPhone, but it garnered the attention and praise of many, notably singer/songwriter S. Holden Jaffe of Brooklyn indie band Del Water Gap. Barnard College’s WBAR Radio also took interest, resulting in a live performance and interview with Gordinier on the station’s show “Bisexual Underground.”
Gordinier's most recent releases are a series of singles recorded over her freshman and sophomore years of college.
