Through her brutally vulnerable lyrics and unconventional song themes such as the menstrual cycle and the ethics of true crime, alt-pop artist and producer Margrete finds something humorous in even the darkest themes, and writes songs you sometimes wish you didn’t relate to. Having grown up as an artistic soul in the sports-oriented suburbs of Oslo, she uses her experience as the odd one out to make her music a voice for the outsider and a home for the misfit.
