Norway-based Mari Cray is an artist that effortlessly flips between hyper-stylized pop and Eminem-influenced rap - something she proved to her homeland as a contestant on ‘Norwegian Idol’ when she was 17 and later on Norway’s ‘The Voice’.

As a solo artist and the lead singer of the group Goober Gun, she found success as a live performer across Asia, worked with acclaimed producer Jaakko Salovaara (Bomfunk MC’s ‘Freestyler’), and landed a Top 10 hit on the Billboard EDM Chart with Victory, a track she worked on with GRAMMY-winning songwriter Michael Jay, before heading to Los Angeles.

In 2021, Mari is taking the world by storm with her upcoming release, a remix of Soul II Soul’s hit ‘Back 2 Life (However Do You Want Me)’ with two of pop’s most sought after producers, A2 productions.

Comprised of multi-instrumental musicians, Norwegian Andre Lindal and Texas-born Anthony Preston. A2’s pop sensibilities come from years of tutelage working alongside producers whose music has defined the pop culture landscape over the past 20 years, including Rodney Jerkins, will.i.am and David Guetta. They’ve wrote and produced for the likes of Gwen Stefani, Maroon 5, will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Scherzinger and have landed credits on hit singles including: Britney Spears’ RIAA platinum-certified ‘Work Bitch’, Justin Bieber’s ‘As Long As You Love Me’ and David Guetta’s ‘Night Of Your Life’ feat.
