MARI MERAKI is an Indie Pop Band from Bandung, West Java established in March 2019. The band formed by the lead vocalist, Nafila Nur Saqila and guitarist, Zahrina Ayu.
Before creating the band, both members had different professions. Nafila or known mononymously as "VE" was an athlete who enjoys playing music as a hobby. Meanwhile, Zahrina or "JJ" was already an active band player.
On August 12th 2019, MARI MERAKI dropped its warped, catchy, delicate debut single "N.Y.E" as a bridge of introduction from the two talented musicians to the audience as evidenced by the number of streaming in a digital store platform that reaches 25,000 streamers and 12,000 listeners in a period of 1 month.
