Maria Kosmatou is a musical theater performer, singer, song and lyric writer and professional dubber born in Athens Greece.
She has given her voice in many fictional characters such as Dolores from Encanto , Barbie , Polly Pocket Vanessa from Phineas and Ferb and many more .
Her career in musical theatre and operas began at the age of 7 when she first played a small part in Die Zauberflöte in Megaron Athens Concert Hall. After that she began her long journey towards being an outstanding musical performer in Greece . She has played in many musicals such as Mamma Mia ! , Jesus Christ Superstar, Matilda , Hairspray , The Company , Anastasia , Scrooge a Christmas Story, Beauty and the Beast , Liberaj and more .
She has been a part of several special conserts in Herodium Theatre Greece, Megaron music Hall and has shared the stage with many special musicians and singers such as Melisses, Helena Paparizou, Sakis Rouvas, Demy , Marseaux , Despina Vandi , Aleka Kanelidou , and more.
While her heart spoke through performing in musicals, she found a new way to share her emotions and stories through songs and lyrics . At her sweet 16 she wrote her first song "Silver Platter " She draws her inspiration from personal stories of her loved ones as well as her own life . Despite her greek heritage she has also written many english songs . Her fisrt single "Obsessed" is to be released soon.
