Maria Palmer

Born and raised in Saratoga Springs, NY, Maria began singing at a very young age. She studied violin and piano, but singing was always her passion. She sang throughout her school years in various groups and at church, which she continues to do today in Princeton, NJ.

It wasn't until recently that she started to take all the melodies and tunes that came to her over the years, and turn them into songs. What started as a project to record a few "cover" songs for her family, turned into a passion of song writing and performing. Maria is a creative story teller and it is evident in her lyrics and musical style of autobiographical and relatable music.

Her first EP, 'A Soul So Restless', including songs Just Juliet, What Will I Do, Because of You and Alive, debuted in 2017. It was recorded at Shorefire Recording Studios, mixed and engineered by Joseph DeMaio and produced by Grammy Award Winner Marc Swersky.

Maria is currently taking a new approach in order to get more of her music out into the world. She has been working as Assistant Producer consistently with Producer Danny Kehlenbeck; an engineer, producer and writer based in Manchester, England. She records demos on her own for Danny, they work back and forth to get the sound right, and then she records final vocals in her guest room closet. She feels this is the most efficient way to produce and be able to share more of her original music.
