Maria Simorangkir is a singer from Indonesia who was born and raised in Medan. She is renowned for her powerhouse vocals and her accomplishment as the winner of Indonesian Idol season 9 in 2018. After Indonesian Idol, as a recording artist, Maria has released three singles one of them is Yakin Bahagia which was written and produced by Nutyas Surya Gumilang (NSG) and Lintang Pramudya Wardani. Following the release of her third single, Maria Simorangkir decided to step back for a while to finish her music study at Methodist Charles Wesley school in Medan.
