Maria started her career at the Operahouse in Wermland,Sweden when she was 12 years old, and for several years she was acting and singing with swedish comedy stars. She has made a tribute album to the Andrews Sisters, with her vocalgroup “The Vocalettes”. Her musical-style goes from jazz, swing, musical, harmonies to rock and country.
Maria has participated with the Swedish pianist and artist Robert Wells in his show, Rhapsody In Rock, appeared at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, Royal Albert Hall in London, the Swedish castle and for the grand opening of the Olympics 2008.
She´s been singing duetts with Michael Bolton, The Osmonds, Billy Dean, Johnny Logan, Franc D'Ambrosio, Rachel Tucker, Charlie McCoy and also worked on stage together with Glenn Hughes, Gino Vanelli, Ronan Keating, Lionel Richie, Paul Carrack, Albert Lee, Paul Overstreet, Deana Carter, Dennis Matkosky, Vince Gill and Lara Fabian.
In March 2016, Maria released her jazz-solo album “For The Love We Lost But Had” The Music is composed by Robert Wells and the lyrics is written by the Swedish number one Crime Writer, Camilla Läckberg.
In 2018 she entered the Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville at the CMA awards, together with grammy-award winner and countrystar Billy Dean, harmonica-legend Charlie McCoy and OS-composer and pianist Robert Wells.
