Mariah K, a singer-songwriter from Crookwell, draws deep inspiration from her Greek grandmother, whose vibrant Mediterranean spirit continues to influence Mariah’s music. Her debut album Journey (2021) introduced her rich voice and storytelling to the world. The standout track “Elada” gained global recognition, even airing on radio stations in Crete and Melbourne. In 2023, Mariah performed “Elada” live with bouzouki master Stratos Gianakakis at Smith’s Alternative, bringing a piece of Greece to Canberra. Her journey took an exciting turn when radio personality Kyle Sandilands discovered her performing at her family’s café—leading to her appearance on Australian Idol 2023.

Mariah K’s star continues to rise with the release of “Fire Up,” a high-energy summer anthem produced by Ingrid Oram, which she performed at Highland FM’s 100% Home-grown in February 2024. Her latest single “Competitor” is a tribute to the Matildas and celebrates unity in sport with a vibrant mix of disco, 90s dance, Philly soul, and deep house. Known for her versatility and bold creativity, Mariah’s upcoming EP Level Up takes her signature sound to the next level—melding club-ready pop with her proud Mediterranean roots.
