Mariah Lyttle

Mariah Lyttle is a Jamaican - American artist hailing from Bridgeport, Connecticut. She is the youngest in her family, which usually means that she is the favorite, and gets away with just about everything.

Raised in a pentecostal church, Mariah began singing at the age of 11. This love for music led her to enroll into Ithaca College, where she graduated cum laude with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Some of her most notable credits include Celie on the second national tour of The Color Purple as well as an Ensemble Vocalist in Radio City Music Hall's Christmas Spectacular. She is currently the Dorothy Understudy in the historic revival of The Wiz, playing at the Marquis Theatre on Broadway.

While she formed a love and respect for theatre, the idea of songwriting had always lingered in the depths of her life, starting in her early teen years. It was during the pandemic when she began to take her writing more seriously, and eventually released her first single in November of 2022, titled "Broken Hearts." Her debut EP, Introspection, is set to be released in 2024.
