Marie Elodie is an independent artist as a Songwriter, Singer, and Producer, currently based in Berlin, Germany. She discovered the unconditional inspiration that natural beauty brings, having grown up in the alpine region of Austria. Her arrangements reflect the fragility of her lyrical honesty triggered by her admiration for Bob Dylan, complimented by ambient and bass heavy productions, evidently inspired by NAO and Oh Wonder. Her smokey vocals glide fluidly around her bluesy melodies from her days of listening to artists like Aretha Franklin, D'Angelo, and Emily King.
In 2017, she released her pop-ballad, "Polluted of the Loving Ones", debuting her solo project. The same year, Marie discovered her entrepreneurial spirit and co-founded the music collective Hummingbird Tapes, which brings together musicians to co-create works of music on retreats in an isolated space.
Her latest release ‘Dreaming’ in collaboration with Uk-based band Cherry Blossom Season was described as “a bubblegum pop head-bob”.
