Marie Seyrat

Born and raised in Paris, France, but now based in Los Angeles, Marie Seyrat entered the music world as one half of indie-pop & folk duo, Freedom Fry. She is also the co-composer of the BAFTA award winning series, Lovely Little Farm (Apple TV+).

As part of Freedom Fry, Marie's work has been heard in campaigns from Abercrombie, Airbnb, Ikea, Intuit, Lanvin, Madewell, REI, United Airlines, and others. She even co-wrote the Amazon hold music.

Her songs have appeared in film & tv shows such as 90210, Atypical, Bones, The Flash, Grey's Anatomy, Locked Down, Love, The Morning Show, Promised Land, and more.

Belgian superstar, Stromae, asked Freedom Fry to be his only opener on the west coast and Florida dates of his sold-out tour for the 12x platinum album, Racine Carrée. Madewell invited Freedom Fry to perform, in-store, at multiple locations as part of their Denim Forever Tour.

Marie's French translation of Harry Nilsson's "Everybody's Talkin'" was a standout track at Ralph Lauren's first west coast runway show, California Dreaming.

A lifelong love for soundtracks has allowed her to consistently create music that effortlessly pairs itself with film & tv in any genre. Her Parisian background adds another dimension and sophistication to her writing approach and a better understanding of what makes music universal.
