mariek is a solo project by Maria, a 23-year-old artist based in Moscow. Deeply influenced by indie rock, dream pop and lo-fi production, she crafts introspective, emotionally-driven songs. Every track is self-written, produced, mixed and mastered independently. She taught herself to play bass, electric guitar and keys so she could make music as a way to connect with someone who might relate to it.
